QuidCon comes to the East Coast!
Join us for three days of programming focused on developing quidditch teams, players, and leaders.

We'll be at the Washington Convention Center in the heart of D.C.

What is QuidCon?

QuidCon has something for everyone

QuidCon is the annual conference of the International Quidditch Association, now in its third year. Previous years have been in Chicago and Seattle. QuidCon is the only conference dedicated to quidditch. It's three days of programming focused on making you a better player, developing your team, making friends with quidkids around the world, and becoming a leader.

Why join us at QuidCon? It comes down to the three P's:

The Programming

QuidCon offers almost two dozen hands-on workshops and seminars on topics ranging from navigating the world of club sports to fundraising to coaching to tournament planning. With this year's theme of "Learn, Lead, and Compete" we'll be focusing even more on how you can develop as a leader to work toward your goals, whether those are winning the World Cup, fundraising to cross the country, or becoming a more confident coach.

The Points

This year, Sunday's quidditch tournament will be a fantasy tournament—attendee-GMs will draft teams to compete for the QuidCon champion title. Throughout the weekend, each region will also compete for "house" points. Think your region is the best? Prove it!

The People

QuidCon is like a cross between a slumber party and summer camp. When you're not attending sessions, you'll be making friends, exploring the convention center and Washington, DC, through a group scavenger hunt, picnicking on the Mall, and more.

QuidCon's almost two dozen workshops and sessions include:

★ Positive Coaching Alliance Keynote and Workshop

Our partners at PCA will lead a coaching workshop about the techniques and practices that result in great coaching and even better team performance, presented by Leslee Brady.

Leslee Brady is a Terrapin, having graduated from the University of Maryland before embarking on a coaching career. For the past 14 seasons, she has been a lacrosse and field hockey coach at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland. A three time "Coach of The Year" honoree, she currently serves as the Varsity Field Hockey Coach and ranks #1 on Spalding's all time win list. Leslee is a past president of the MD State Coaches Association, and is a fequent speaker at clinics and camps, mentoring young coaches in the art of positive coaching and promoting women in sports.
